The 31st annual workshop of the European Research Network on Transitions in Youth (TIY) took place on September 4-6 and was hosted by the Faculty of Sociology at the University of Warsaw. This event was organized by Anna Kiersztyn, Katarzyna Kopycka, Stefan Bieńkowski, and Paweł Downarowicz, with the cooperation of the TIY Committee and the help of sociology students. The conference theme was “Youth Transitions in Vulnerable Populations: New Challenges in Uncertain Times”, focusing on the situation of young people from vulnerable groups in the context of global changes such as digitalization, the pandemic, migration, and deepening inequalities. Over 50 researchers from around Europe participated in this international workshop and accompanying events. During the event, Katarzyna Kopycka presented the Cross National Precarity Index CNPI during the poster session. More information is available on the conference website: https://ws.uw.edu.pl/tiy2024/. It was an extraordinary and enriching experience, and we can’t wait for the next edition of the workshop.
