The ISA RC28 Spring Meeting was held at the Center for Research on Social Inequalities (CRIS), Sciences Po, Paris. On Friday, May 28, during a session on „Employment insecurity and precarity”, Katarzyna Kopycka presented a paper (co-authored by Anna Kiersztyn) presenting the Cross National Precarity Index CNPI, developed as part of our project. The paper, which spurred the interest of the session participants, explained the formula for calculating the CNPI, discussed the index properties and provided an example of its application for data from panel surveys conducted in Germany (SOEP) and the USA (NLSY97).
